What’s Been Happening at ClarkMorgan?
>>> ClarkMorgan is more than an in-house training company. And this month proved that! Our 140 informative ClarkMorgan Insight videos became available on Apple iTunes. We also launched an audio podcast called Evolving People, which is also available on Apple iTunes and directly on our ClarkMorgan website. And that’s not all! In May ClarkMorgan ran our first Powerful Presentations Public Course for the year, with Patrick McDonald. And what else did we get up to?

Alpla – Management Development Program

Alpha develops and produces plastic packaging solutions for multinational firms, including Unilever, Procter & Gamble, and Henkel. The company was established in Austria in 1955, and today has 16,000 employees and a turnover of 3.13 billion euro. This was the second session of a four-session, fully customised Leadership and Management program. Trainers Jeff Lunz and Patrick McDonald assisted with the delivery, which was conducted near Alpla’s Hefei factory.

Luxottica – Communication Skills

Luxottica is the world’s largest eyewear company, controlling over 80% of all major eyewear brands. ClarkMorgan has been supporting Luxottica in Shanghai, Dongguan, Hong Kong and Singapore. In May, Yan Sai ran a Communication Skills program in Dongguan, combining classroom activities with team building games.

Henkel – Emotional & Social Effectiveness

Henkel is a 15 billion euro company, with a growing presence in emerging markets, where global sales account for 42% of business and where 54% of its people are employed. The company has a keen interest developing its people within these emerging markets, and ClarkMorgan has supported this goal since 2007. This is the third year that ClarkMorgan trainer, Maggie Nee, has been invited to Henkel to train from our Business Essentials catalog.

Nike – Business Writing

Nike first began production in China in 1981. This early investment has played well for the global brand, and also built a very strong domestic market for its shoes and apparel. This two-day Business Writing program was designed to assist Shanghai staff communicate globally and was conducted by trainer, Rupert Munton.

Pitcher Partners – China Strategy Briefing Session

Pitcher Partners is a national association of independent accountants, auditors and advisors founded in Australia in 1991. The firm targets the medium sized organisations, and has reach globally through its association with Baker Tilly. In May, ClarkMorgan co-founder, Morry Morgan, ran the first China Strategy Monthly Briefing Session with 40 partners from Pitcher Partners. The one-hour session was well received, with the Executive Director, Mr. Theo Sakell, stating that he’d “certainly recommend the briefing for anyone willing to get to the heart of doing business in China.”
